What does a School Counselor do?

At Kit Carson our School Counselor helps students with:

• Friendships and peer relationships 
• Feelings, stress, and problem solving
• Classroom guidance lessons and activities
• Connecting families with school and community resources
• Academic goals and study skills

How students can meet with School Counselor

Students can:

• Ask their teacher to visit the counselor
• Fill out the Counselor Request Form
• Stop by during counseling hours
